Labiaplasty

WHAT IS LABIAPLASTY?

Labiaplasty is commonly referred to as labia reduction surgery.  Labiaplasty is an aesthetic surgery for the female genitalia involving the reduction to the size of the labia. Female patients often request this procedure because the labia either hangs low, appears too large, or causes discomfort, especially when wearing tight undergarments.   HD Esthetique offers the best doctor and surgeon for labiaplasty

RECOVERY

Post labiaplasty surgery, patients experience minor discomfort for a few hours after the anesthesia wears off.

Dr. Rafael Antun  will give you medication to provide you with the most comfort possible. You will be instructed not to engage in any sexual relations for a 30 day period after the procedure.

You may shower the day after your procedure although many patients prefer to wait an additional day. After showering, pat dry the incision area and use a hand-held hair dryer on the coolest setting.

Avoid cigarette smoking for two weeks after surgery.  This will greatly assist your body’s natural healing processes.

Patients whose jobs do not involve full-time sitting usually return to work in just a few days. For others, the recovery period may last up to two weeks.

One month after a labiaplasty procedure, swelling will have reduced substantially and one may resume all normal exercise routines.

Dr. Rafael Antun will address any concerns or questions you have about the recovery process.  HD Esthetique, believes your health and happiness are the most important considerations.
