Dr. Rafael Antun has established a practice at HD Esthetique in Miami, Florida since 2007. Dr. Antun is a trained surgeon in general surgery, cosmetic surgery and urology in the United States; and is a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery (AACS). He has participated in numerous cosmetic programs recognized by the AACS in the United States and Latin America. Dr. Antun has been the lead speaker in multiple academic conferences regarding the elimination of biopolymers through use of cool laser treatments, as well as, the most innovative and modern cosmetic surgeries and reconstructive surgeries.

As a pioneer in the techniques for extraction of biopolymers, Dr. Antun has dedicated the last 15 years towards perfecting his craft by developing new, specialized techniques that permit and facilitate the removal of foreign substances being illegally introduced into patients throughout the world. The use of cool laser treatment for the extraction of biopolymers is a minimally invasive procedure where small incisions are made to allow for the extraction of the greatest percentage of previously injected foreign substances (biopolymers) from the affected body areas or other areas where biopolymers may have migrated. Cool laser treatment avoids the associated risks of “open-surgery” and the various complications, deformities and unfavorable aesthetic results which often accompany “open surgery”.

After surgery, Dr. Antun, together with his highly qualified staff of licensed aestheticians, use the most modern technology for recovery and offers patients the best care and attention to promote the highest levels of satisfaction.

In addition, Dr. Antun performs other cosmetic surgeries, including breast augmentation, abdominoplasty (tummy-tuck), liposuction with fat transfer to the buttocks (Brazilian Butt Lift), liposuction, reconstructive surgery, face lifts, neck lifts, and blepharoplasty (eye-lift), among others.
